The Capitol Hill Block Party (CHBP) is an annual three-day music and arts festival held in Seattle's vibrant Capitol Hill neighborhood. Since its inception in 1997, CHBP has evolved into a cornerstone of the city's cultural calendar, showcasing a diverse array of musical genres including indie rock, electronic, pop, and hip-hop. The festival is renowned for its dynamic lineup that blends internationally acclaimed artists with emerging local talent, reflecting the creative and independent spirit of the community. In 2026, CHBP is set to take place from August 7th to 9th, featuring headliners such as indie-pop powerhouse MUNA, electronic sensation Disco Lines, and UK alt-rock duo Wet Leg. Additional performances will include acts like Parcels, Magdalena Bay, Tinashe (DJ Set), DJ Trixie Mattel, Zack Fox, and Amber Mark, among others. The festival will host over 100 performances across multiple indoor and outdoor stages, including iconic venues like Neumos and Barboza, as well as various neighborhood spaces throughout Capitol Hill. This year's event will continue as a 21+ festival, optimizing the footprint across the Pike/Pine corridor to deliver an elevated fan experience while supporting neighborhood flow and local businesses. CHBP's commitment to amplifying local artists remains strong, with more than half of the 2026 lineup hailing from Seattle, underscoring its mission to support the Pacific Northwest music ecosystem.
