The Crossroads Guitar Festival, founded by Eric Clapton, is a biennial event that unites some of the world's most renowned guitarists across genres such as blues, rock, country, and jazz. The 2026 edition, scheduled for September 26–27 at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, marks the festival's seventh iteration and celebrates the 28th anniversary of the Crossroads Centre Antigua, a treatment and education facility established by Clapton in 1998. This year's lineup features a blend of returning legends and first-time performers, including Eric Clapton, Joe Bonamassa, Gary Clark Jr., Billy Gibbons, Buddy Guy, Sonny Landreth, John Mayer, Del McCoury Band, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Jimmie Vaughan, Trey Anastasio, Tommy Emmanuel, Julian Lage, and Pete Townshend. The festival offers attendees an immersive experience with main stage concerts, multi-artist collaborations, and interactive exhibits like The Guitar Center Experience, where fans can explore gear, view iconic instruments, and engage with leading guitar brands. All profits from the event benefit the Crossroads Centre Antigua, reinforcing the festival's commitment to supporting addiction recovery initiatives.
