Ocean Way Festival was poised to be a vibrant two-day music event set against the picturesque backdrop of Santa Monica Beach. Scheduled for September 26-27, 2026, the festival aimed to celebrate music, food, wellness, design, sustainability, and beach culture. The inaugural lineup featured headliners The Killers, Jack White, and Olivia Dean, alongside artists like Khruangbin, Sublime, Alvvays, SG Lewis, 54 Ultra, Hot Chip (DJ set), DJ Harvey, Austin Millz, Nala, Heidi Lawden, and others. The festival was designed to be a car-free, beachfront celebration, encouraging attendees to use public transportation and embrace the coastal environment. Unfortunately, due to significant beach erosion caused by Hurricane Marie, the City of Santa Monica and Goldenvoice announced the cancellation of the event, citing safety concerns. Plans are underway to bring the festival back in 2027.
